Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) enables organizations to identify, assess, manage, and monitor risks that could impact strategic objectives, financial performance, operations, and regulatory compliance. A critical component of an effective ERM program is understanding the difference between risk appetite—the amount of risk an organization is willing to accept in pursuit of its objectives—and risk tolerance—the acceptable variation around those objectives.
This practical webinar provides executives, risk professionals, financial leaders, and business managers with a comprehensive understanding of how to establish, communicate, and manage risk appetite and risk tolerance across the organization. Participants will learn how these concepts support strategic decision-making, strengthen governance, improve regulatory compliance, and create a resilient risk culture.
Through real-world examples and industry best practices, attendees will gain practical tools for aligning risk management with business strategy while maintaining an appropriate balance between growth and risk.
Organizations face an increasingly complex risk landscape that includes financial, operational, cybersecurity, regulatory, strategic, and reputational risks. Without clearly defined risk appetite and risk tolerance levels, businesses may either take excessive risks that threaten stability or become overly conservative and miss valuable growth opportunities.
This webinar will help participants develop a structured approach to balancing risk and reward while supporting informed decision-making and long-term organizational success.
